Sea fishing reports from Grays, Stanford, Rainham, Thamesmead and Erith

SEA ANGLING: THERE has been plenty of sea angling action in Thurrock and south Essex over the last week.
Thamesmead & Erith: Eddie Sharp reports flounders all around the 1lb mark being caught on lugworm at Thamesmead, while bass to 3.5lb have been tempted on small ragworm at Morrison’s Jetty in Erith.
Gravesend: Whiting, the odd sole and flounders have been reported.
Greenhythe: Bass to 2lb have fallen to ragworm.
Sheerness: Schoolies, flounders and eels have made up the catches.
Rainham: Some large bags of flounders have been caught by anglers using lugworm at Coldharbour Lane.
Stanford le Hope: Small lug and ragworm bait has tempted schoolies and flounders.
Grays Wharf & Yacht Club: Bass, whiting and flounders have provided sport.
