Mitchell is determined to continue ring chase

BOXING: Kevin Mitchell is determined to keep chasing Ricky Burns after the Scotsman retained his WBO lightweight title.
Dagenham-based Mitchell trained for the world title fight in Glasgow at Wickford’s Newlands Gym.
But he was twice on the canvas in the fourth round before referee Terry O’Connor stopped the fight, Mitchell’s second defeat of his career.
Mitchell, 27, said: “It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy, he is a good friend of mine. He could unify the weight division and perhaps step up another level."
