Bilel Mohsni waiting for news

FOOTBALL: Bilel Mohsni is waiting to discover if Ipswich Town are interested in signing him on loan.
The French defender scored a 30-yard shot for the Tractor Boys’ under 21 side in their 6-0 win over Cardiff City.
And he now hopes to leave Southend United to team up with the Championship club.
“I am waiting to find out what will happen and I’m due to hold talks with Ipswich soon, so I’m hoping something can be agreed,” said Mohsni, who was allowed to play against the Welshmen as an overage player.
“Hopefully it can be done quite quickly too because I want to be playing again.”
Mohsni previously spent time on trial with West Ham United during pre-season but Blues opted to turn down the Hammers bid of around £150,000 for the 25-year-old. For more news on the Shrimpers see Monday's Echo newspaper
