Mark Fogg claims five wickets
11:40pm Wednesday 4th July 2012 in Sport
Belhus 5th 163-8 Stanford le Hope 5th 109 all out CRICKET: MARK Fogg of Belhus claimed a personal best haul of five wickets for just 23 at Corringham Recreation Ground on Saturday as the fifth eleven were the only Belhus Saturday league side to chalk up a win.
Stanford’s Matthew Hasler may have wished that some of his colleagues had 'stuck around' a bit longer as he was marooned on 48 not out as wickets tumbled around him.
Ethan Thomas was the only other home batsman in double figures with 24.
Four Belhus batsmen made double figures: Barry Ruck 31, Toby Reynolds 26, Steven Playle 13 and Don East – who was undefeated – 38.
