Fourth string action

CRICKET: THE Belhus fourth string declared at 241 for 7 and then bowled Upminster 6ths out for 50 at the weekend.

Bagging the majority of the runs for Belhus were Jim Banner, 64, and Dale Kenyon,63. Peter Clark hit a fine 53 not out but unquestionably the Belhus man of the match was Kenyon as he removed much of the Upminster resistance with six wickets at a cost of just 18 runs . This return was a career best for the young all-rounder. He was supported by Paul Whitlock 3-16.
