Essex talent in Bedford

ATHLETICS: A HOST of south Essex’s best young talent will be in action at the UK under-20 and under-23 championships and World Junior Championships Trials.
As well as Jess Judd and Hayley McLean, two under-17 athletes, Sophie Riches (1,500m) and Kaylee Dodd (800m) will also be there making the step up in age group.
In the under-20 championships are Chelsea Coker (hammer), Ryan O’Sullivan (100m), Tom Richardson (1,500m), Akeem Akintokun (400m) and Liam Yarwood (pole vault).
In the under-23s are Basildon AC’s Gemma Kersey (1,500m) and Mark Dyble (100m/200m).
