9:35am Wednesday 30th May 2012 in Sport By Frazer Clark
ANGLING: STANFORD'S match was moved from The Warren’s match lake to the main lake this week.
And it was won by Stan Howard who weighed in with 15lb 4oz of skimmers which were all taken steadily throughout the match on quiver-tipped corn baits.
In second place was John Musson – another angler who has struck form over the past month – as he weighed in a 13lb 9oz mixed bag from the point swim of the logs.
Due to the Diamond Jubilee celebrations this weekend, The Warren’s match will be on Bank Holiday Monday instead of the usual Sunday.
The draw is at 7.30am and entry is £11 per angler.
A day ticket fee is also payable on the bank.
