St Clere's winning U15s team
FOOTBALL: ST CLERE’S U15’s won the Southend & District League Spring Cup final, beating Forest Glade “Whites” 1-0.
The Thurrock underdogs were 13 league places behind their rivals from a higher division.
But St Clere’s impressive season end filled them with confidence and they took the game to Forest Glade to deservedly grab victory.
A single goal from Sam Russell, who converted a cross from Ryan Brabben was the difference between the two sides.
