Club's try-out day

BOWLS: THURROCK Bowls Club are holding a ‘Come and Try Session’ for Lawn Bowls on Sunday May 13 from 10am until noon. Anyone who is interested is urged to turn up and join the members to see, at first hand, how the game is played. No previous experience is necessary. You’ll need a pair of flat-soled shoes – all other equipment will be provided. Young people under 18 are welcome and the Club’s coach (Registered Level 2) and the club Child Protection Officer will both be in attendance. Thurrock Bowls Club is adjacent to the car park for Thurrock Civil Hall. For further details call Terry Chamberlin on 07971 850243. Thurrock runs coaching sessions for beginners on Monday evenings from 6pm until 8pm.
