Shrimpers looking for victory in quest for advancement

SOUTHEND United striker Freddy Eastwood wants Roots Hall to be rocking for this Saturday’s final day shootout against Macclesfield Town.

Blues can clinch promotion this weekend if they better the results of both Crawley Town and Torquay United.

And popular player Eastwood is keen for the club’s fans to play their part.

“Our fans can make a huge difference this weekend, so we want and need them to be right behind us,” said the 28-year-old, who looks set to be recalled to the starting line-up to face the Silkmen.
