Lee Valley open suits Harriers

THURROCK Harriers took part in the Lee Valley Open on Saturday. Lucy Jewel and Shannon Jameson both ran U15 and both gaining personal bests. Lucy Jewel also gained a PB in the 200m (29.64). Tyler Chu ran close to his PB in the 800m and Shannon Jameson added an impressive 11cm onto her long jump personal best now at 4.18m. Lily Jewel also took part in the long jump also earning herself a PB with a jump of 3.55m.
Samuel Ekunole and Tyler came second and third respectively for taking part in the U15 shot. Alice Martin also threw a PB of 19.79.
