Stanford Sirens are all heart

WOMENS RUGBY: STANFORD Sirens have showed they are all heart.

The Stanford RFC Ladies side were part of a special iniative by Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby to help out at Wembley collecting money for the wheelchair cause.

Sirens used all their powers of persuasion along with other volunteers to collect every penny possible for Wheelchair rugby.

And the team continued the celebrations back at their home club in the evening.

The majority of wheelchair rugby athletes have spinal cord injuries at the level of their cervical vertebrae.

Other eligible players have multiple amputations, polio, or neurological disorders.

Stanford’s Sirens have achieved great success this season after a true development season last year.

A true team spirit is firmly embedded within this team.
