WOMENS RUGBY: THURROCK T-Birds showed why they are championship title holders when they took on Richmond at the weekend.
Richmond - who were on home turf - battled hard, but the game finished 19-29 to the visitors.
T-Birds play the Swedish national side at Oakfield on Good Friday at 6pm as preparation for their promotion play off on April 22 against Camp Hill from Birmingham. Camp Hill are Championship North winners and the venue is still to be decided.
