Snooker pro looking forward to Antipodean clash

SNOOKER: Thurrock snooker regular Stuart Bingham said he’s “thrilled” at the prospect of a return to the scene of his greatest triumph after details of the second Australian Goldfields Open were released.
Bingham enjoyed his first-ever ranking title win by beating Mark Williams 9-8 in last July’s final.
Tickets have now gone on sale again for the event, to be staged at Bendigo Stadium, in Victoria, from July 9 to 15.
