Indoor bowls centre is venue as men win clash

BOWLS: A 'battle of the sexes' took place at Tilbury Indoor Bowls Centre yesterday Sunday.

Six teams of men and six teams of women bowlers took part in a head-to-head battle.

Despite wins by Ann Score's and Carole Riley's team, the men came out the victors.

The score was 139 shots to the men and 113 shots to the ladies.
