Jundokan fighters big karate haul at Dagenham

KARATE: Ten fighters from Jundokan Tilbury took part in the Kaizen Cup karate tournament at Dagenham Park Leisure Centre on Sunday.

The competition involved competitions in kara in the morning and kumite (points fighting) in the afternoon.

A total of 200 fighters from across the south east were entered and Tilbury youngsters did well.

Tilbury’s Judokan karate club train in traditional (Goju Ryu Karate Do) and sports karate.

They we have been established in Tilbury for seven years with the sessions at Riverview youth development centre at Quebec Road.

Training takes place on Mondays Mondays from 6pm - 8.30pm and on Fridays. To start training call Bill Martin 07968982672.
