Thurrock RFC U15s edge out Upper Clapton


Thrrrock Under 15's 12 Upper Clapton 10 Tee's Under 15s hosted Upper Clapton to their fourth league game of the season.

So far the U15s have logged one win, one loss and one draw.

Tee's started well and after just two minutes winger Chad Wright scored.

The game was then end to end for the rest of the half with Upper Clapton scoring after 18 minutes making the half time score 5-5.

After the restart Chris Storr was unlucky not to score when he ran 35 yards breaking three tackles before being pulled down just two yards from the line.

This spurred Tee's on and after 18 minutes centre Ben White crossed the line and he also converted his own try.

In the last minutes of the game the visitors managed to score out wide but could not convert with their kick.

Tee's came away with a hard fought win. Special mention must go out to Sam Jennings, Dan Hills, Max Steadman and Nick Bartholomew for their outstanding contribution to the victory.
