Thames RFC is venue for famous footballing trophy

THE FA Cup is coming to Thurrock on Saturday July 4.

The Football Association is supporting the Lets Kick Racism Out Of Football tournament at the Thames Rugby Club in South Ockendon tomorrow.

The competition, organised by Thurrock Tigers FC, starts at 9am and is open to all Under 8 to Under 14 teams.

The entry fee is £30 per team, with the opportunity for players to win prizes.

Thurrock Tigers FC will be donating 50 per cent of the proceeds to St Luke’s Hospice in Basildon.

Players and spectators will also have the opportunity to pose for pictures with the FA Cup.

Other activities on the day include a bouncy castle, barbecue, raffle prizes and a penalty shoot out competition.
