John Wayne Hibbert has secure a glamorous return to the ring after signing a deal to fight Johnny Garton at the O2 Arena.
The Horndon-on-the-Hill welterweight told the Thurrock Gazette he was considering quitting after his bout against Curtis Woodhouse last month was cancelled following the death of Scott Westgarth.
But he will fight Garton - who has lost just one of 23 bouts and is the current IBF European Welterweight champion - on Saturday, April 14 on the undercard of a fight night topped by Billy Joe Saunders’ WBO world middleweight defence against Martin Murray.
