RUGBY: Thurrock drew a thrilling encounter 10-10 with Old Colfeians as a last minute converted try ensured the spoils were shared.
There was very little to choose between the two teams in the London One South clash.
Dan Wood had scored a try for Old Colfeians, with fly-half Jack Potter than man on target from the two for the conversion and a later penalty.
Tom Worsfeld had previously got Thurrock on the scoresheet with a stunning 50-yard kick but it looked as though it wouldn’t be enough.
With them 10-3 down heading into the final moments, Nat Farrell scored a last minute try to make it 10-8 with the conversion needed.
Worsfold kicked the conversion, adding to his earlier first penalty, to ensure both sides took something away from a keenly-contested match.
Thurrock host Sevenoaks this weekend looking to make it three matches unbeaten in the league.
