JAMES Webster has been appointed as the new manager of Aveley.
Webster has taken over as boss of the Millers following the departure of Terry Spillane last week.
The new man at the helm moves to Parkside having enjoyed a hugely successful seven seasons with Brightlingsea Regent, where he secured four promotions.
Brightlingsea Regent won the Isthmian North title, by 14 points, under Webster's guidance last term.
Webster, whose final match in charge of Brightlingsea Regent proved to be the 2-0 Isthmian Premier League win over Kingstonian this evening, will be joined in the Parkside dugout by Chris Smith.
Smith was also Webster's assistant manager at his previous employers.
A statement on the Aveley website confirmed: "With the move to Parkside, the board were looking for a young and inspiring manager, which we feel we have found in James."
