TILBURY scored a remarkable six goals as they got the better of Mildenhall Town 6-4 in a 10-goal thriller.

The Dockers were pegged back twice early on before romping to the win in the Isthmian North, with all their goals coming in the first 64 minutes.

Toby Aromolaran got the scoring underway with just four minutes on the clock, although the next goal was 30 minutes in the waiting.

Josh Curry levelled for the hosts before Bryan Kyungu restored the Dockers lead.

However, Shaun Avis' strike meant the two went into half-time all square.

It took just three minutes of the second-half for Tilbury to go ahead through Adam Vyse, before Emiel Aiken added a quick-fire fourth.

Craig Calver made it three goals in the first 10 minutes of the half as Mildenhall threatened to get back into it.

But Ryan Melaugh and Aromolaran scored twice in three minutes to end the contest.

Lewis Jaggs was sent off late on for the visitors, before Gareth Simpson became the ninth different scorer on the day.

A 94th minute penalty condemned Grays Athletic to a 1-0 defeat at Hertford Town.

In a competitive first-half, neither side was able to make the breakthrough although the Blues were handed a boost after the break.

Jason Beck was sent off for the hosts after 52 minutes, with Grays cranking up the pressure.

But it wasn’t to be, as Michael Toner tucked home from the spot at the death to send Grays home pointless.

Aveley needed just one goal to get the better of Brentwood Town.

Jordan Watson scored it midway through the second-half for the hosts, who saw Nathan Koranteng dismissed late on.

Nothing separated the sides in the first 45 minutes, although away goalkeeper Anthony Page was the busier stopper.

Watson got the goal, heading home a cross from Jordan Peart in emphatic fashion.

Peart saw a strike disallowed for offside before Koranteng’s late red card made for a tense finish.

In the Isthmian Premier League, Thurrock played out a 1-1 draw with Merstham.

Fleet had taken an early third minute lead through Dennis Oli.

But Mark Stimson’s men couldn’t hold onto the lead, Sahr Kabba pegging back the home side.
