SHEPHERD NEAME SUMMARY: Horndon-on-the-Hill made it seven Division Two victories in a row with an impressive five-wicket victory over leaders Hutton.

Outstanding bowling from Jeff West (5-20) and Connor Hammond (3-20) provided a platform for Muhammad Asif (42 not out) to chase down the paltry target of 115.

Orsett & Thurrock took the derby honours in the Premier League, beating Belhus by 58 runs.

The hosts scored 192 in 49 overs - Nawaz Ahmad Jan hitting 50. Matt Doran took 4-27 for Belhus.

Joe Joyce (39) and Danny Joyce (28) top scored for Belhus but it wasn’t enough in the end.

Jan’s 4-27 completed an excellent match for the all-rounder.

Stanford-le-Hope were beaten by 98 runs in their Division Three match at Woodford Green.

Stanford elected to field but Green put on 98 for the first wicket, closing on 245. Adam Knight took 3-45.

Matt Page’s 31 was the best Stanford had to offer, all out after 40.3 overs.
