JOE Joyce struck his fourth century of the season as Belhus completed an emphatic 10-wicket win over neighbours Orsett & Thurrock.

Joyce struck 15 fours and one six to finish undefeated on 112 from 102 balls in the Shepherd Neame Essex League Division One encounter.

Danny Joyce was unbeaten with 90.

Earlier, Kirk Laws had top scored for the visitors with 44, while Umaad Sultan hit 42. Danny Norris and Matthew Doran picked up three wickets each, Connor Day took two and Martin Guilbert the remaining scalp.

Belhus 2s were 88-run victors against West Essex, with Dan Dreher hitting a career best 103 not out from only 55 deliveries.

The 3s were well beaten by Oakfield Parkonians, although the 4s defeated Brentwood by four wickets.

Dutch international cricketer James Gruijters smashed an undefeated 98 for Chelmsford in a Sunday League Premier Division clash, while the U12s crushed Dunmow by 80 runs.

Aidan Fourie picked up a hat-trick (2-4).

Rayleigh U15 beat their Belhus counterparts by 15 runs.

>Stanford-le-Hope fell an agonising four runs short to lose their SNEL Division Three match against Woodford Green on Saturday.

Woodford made 173 having elected to bat, with Greg Barr taking 4-41 and Adam Knight 3-29.

Stanford were going well in response with Knight unbeaten on 29 at the end but the tail couldn’t hold out.

James Drain was the final man to go, bowled with Stanford on 169 with five overs remaining.
