Back - Max Cornhill is congratulated after scoring a goal in a previous spell at East Thurrock United
EAST Thurrock United have re-signed Max Cornhill and announced their list of retained players for the 2017/18 season.
The club welcome back Cornhill, who was playing for Chelmsford City last season, and has played for a six-year spell at Rocks in the past.
They have also announced key players such as captain Sam Higgins and last season's top scorer Tom Wraight have, in principle, agreed to stay.
Lukas Lidakevicius, Ryan Sammons, Sammy Knott, Simon Peddie, Marvin Ekpiteta, Lee Burns, Ben Marlow, Reece Harris, Kye Ruel and Harry Honesty have also agreed to remain at Rookery Hill.
This follows the news that manager John Coventry had signed George Allen, James White, Brad Warner and Lewis Smith ahead of next term.
