CRICKET: Belhus were crushed by 10 wickets in the Shepherd Neame first division as Harlow ran out big winners.

Joe Joyce top scored with 60, while brother Danny struck 43 and Matthew Doran 42 as they closed on 197.

In reply, home openers Hafiz Yawar Afzal and Alan Jones were untroubled - Afzal on 117 not out and Jones on 78.

They were much better in the Essex Sunday League match against Gidea Park & Romford, as they ensured a draw.

Joe Joyce struck 105 not out at number seven to become the highest ever scorer for Belhus in that position.

The 2s were beaten by Oakfield Parkonians - Charlie Lewis striking an excellent 111, but the 3s were comfortable winners against their Hadleigh & Thundersley counterparts.

Richard Waters made 77 not out, while Zak Wilson struck 57. Alan Maidment then worked wonders with the ball by bagging 6-38 runs.

The 4s beat Wanstead and Snaresbrook, Antonio Darrell making 80.
