EAST Thurrock United conceded an injury-time equaliser to draw 2-2 with St Albans City in the National League South.

Rocks were playing their last away match of terms, and they started well against mid-table rivals St Albans.

After Charlie Walker had hit the post for St Albans, Tom Wraight drove an unstoppable strike into the net to put the visitors ahead after 17 minutes.

A deflected David Noble free-kick made it 1-1 at half-time with Sam Higgins missing a glorious chance from the penalty spot in the second period.

Reece Harris restored East Thurrock’s lead late on following a swift counter-attack before Noble steered home a 93rd minute equaliser.
