GRAYS Athletic have been relegated from the Ryman Premier League after they were beaten 1-0 by Wingate & Finchley today.
Blues had left themselves a lot to do after a difficult season had seen them fall to bottom of the standings with just five games remaining.
And they couldn’t match play-off chasing Wingate, as a goal after 37 minutes from Ahmet Rifat saw them lose in north London.
The result sees Grays’ four-year stint in the Ryman Premier League come to an end, as the fan-owned club look to rebuild next season.
