THURROCK’S director of rugby Dean White was left incredibly frustrated by his side’s 18-8 defeat at Eton Manor.

T’s made the trip on the back of an impressive victory against Brentwood in London One North.

But they came crashing back down to earth with a below par performance on the road which left White feeling bemused.

“To say I’m disappointed is an understatement,” said White.

“After last weeks great performance we just didn’t get going in this game.

“We actually started really well and looked organised and powerful in the early stages but we then lost structure and played into Eton Manor’s hands.

“They are a well drilled outfit but this game was one that got away.

“The team will look hard at themselves and we will look to put things right this week against Letchworth.”

Eton Manor’s win saw them jump above Thurrock in the standings with T’s now sixth in the table level on points with their hosts.
