TILBURY crushed Soham Town Rangers 4-1 to take all three points in the Ryman North clash.

The Dockers have been inconsistent in the league up to now but they were emphatic in their most recent encounter.

Soham had a miserable first-half, as they conceded four goals and saw two players sent off.

Neil Richmond put the hosts ahead after eight minutes, before Tony Martin netted from the penalty spot 10 minutes later.

Eli Benoit and Emiel Aiken scored three goals in two minutes either side of the half-hour mark to put Tilbury in charge.

Jordan Gent and Dubi Ogbonna were dismissed before the whistle but Soham actually won the second-half.

Marcus Hall got the goal but it ended 4-1.

Aveley lost their first league game in a month as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Cheshunt.

The Millers were 2-0 down at the break, with Billy Jones getting both goals for the visitors.

Abs Seymour hit the crossbar for Aveley with the score at 1-0 but Cheshunt were impressing.

Lamar Johnson made a terrific save to keep out Jason Hallett from the penalty spot.

Four minutes into the second-half Andres Tobon made it 2-1 with a far post volley but the second-half was relatively devoid of clear-cut chances as Cheshunt took the points.
