A GRAYS karate club picked up two gold medals and brought home 18 in total in what was a hugely successful afternoon in Southend.
The Yamaguchi Goju-Kai competed in the Kata Invitational Tournament, with 35 students taking part in total, including a number of younger students.
Danielle Ball and Kim Jones secured gold medals, with Ball also securing a silver medal along with Ryan Blackwell, Jan Szwark, David Virgo.
And there were 12 bronze medals to boot, with Amalia Olaru, Lois Galea, Amy Raven, Ethan Neale-Buckley, Zuzanna Zajac, Lewis Darby, Hollie Tillet, Tyler Ilkhan, Leia Steele, Cody Waller, Kirstie Fox and Megan Tennyson successful.
