GEMMA Holloway began her summer season with a terrific run at the Watford Open, breaking a 30 year record along the way.
The Grays teenager ran in the mixed 3km 'A' race and broke the club's 30 year record with a time of 9m 27.21s, just nine hundredths of a second better than the previous mark previously set by Alison Hollington, a former Great Britain modern pentathlon international.
