A NUMBER of Thurrock Harriers were part of the Essex team competing at the Sportshall Regional Finals at Hatfield.
William Adeyeye was the star of the show for Harriers and indeed Essex as he came first overall in the under-15 all-rounder competition to qualify for the national final.
Theo Adesina was third in the same competition while Funminiyi Olajide came joint fifth in the under-15 girls section.
Other Harriers to compete were: U11 girls: Chloe Brand and Deborah George.
U13 girls: Sola Taiwo, Ruby Bridger.
U13 boys: Daniel Ogutuga, Francis Omowanile and Oreofe Adepegba.
U15 girls: Funminiyi Olajide, Jessica Whitbread and Rhea Stravi.
U15 boys: William Adeyeye, Liam Chivers, Kayode Odumosu, Theo Adesina and Daniel Soyebo.
