THE PREVIEW: It is the second meeting in a fortnight for these two teams, with Rocks hoping for a repeat of the last match.

James Walker, inset, scored in the last 15 minutes of that match, although there was more than a touch of offside about the goal.

Eleven days on Rocks have four more points under their belt, including a 4-0 mauling of local rivals Canvey Island on Tuesday.

Striker Sam Higgins took his tally to 27 goals in 25 games with a hat-trick in that game.

John Coventry’s side have lost just one league match since October 24 and sit third, two points off top spot.

Burgess Hill have taken just two points from the last 15 on offer, although last season’s Ryman One South champions are just nine points off the play-offs themselves.

WHAT HE SAYS: Rocks boss John Coventry said: “I am expecting a tough game as I was quite surprised at how good Burgess Hill were the last time we played. They played good football and I am sure this match will be no different.

“Their objective would have been to stay in this league having come up last year and they will do that, so we need to make sure we play our game.

“We were good against Canvey, although they weren’t as bad as the scoreline suggests. Anything Sam Higgins touched that night would’ve gone in but it was an important result and we’re now excited about this game.”
