LIAM Nash scored a brace as Aveley cruised to a comfortable 5-0 win over Barkingside.
Aveley were far too good for strugglers Barkingside, and got the scoring underway with just three minutes on the clock.
Tarryn Allarakhia got the goal from close range after good work from his strike partner Nash, although the home team did rally after that.
Taff Addae missed from close range and Tyrone Scarlett also had an effort clear the crossbar with the goal gaping.
And Aveley took advantage of Barkingside’s profligacy in front of goal with their second of the afternoon.
Allarakhia played in Pet Elbi and he made no mistake with an empathic finish.
Alex Teniola missed several guilt-edged chances as the half went on but Aveley clicked into gear after the half-time whistle.
Teniola. Elbi and Nash combined for the third goal, as the latter rounded the keeper and slotted home 10 minutes after the break.
Junior Baker hit the bar for the Millers before Nash buried his second and Teniola finished the rout in stoppage time.
Abs Seymour crossed and Teniola netted to complete a memorable day for Justin Gardner’s side.
Aveley: Marrable, Preston, Seymour, Baker, Oseyemi (Smith), Deen, Nash, Holland, Teniola, Elbi (Olu), Allarakhia
