Needham Market 1–3 East Thurrock United
From Bloomfields
Ryman Premier League
EAST Thurrock United continued their fine recent form to pick up three points at Needham Market.
Rocks scored three goals to continue their good recent form and, in the absence of hotshot Sam Higgins, East Thurrock were looking for a goal source.
And the first came from Sammy Knott, as he opened his account for the club.
Needham are struggling near the foot of the division and they couldn’t match a Rocks side just getting into their stride.
Ashley Miller grabbed the second goal on the hour mark, although they were pegged back with just two minutes to go through Sam Newson.
Tom Wraight netted goal number three in injury time to complete a successful evening’s work.
East Thurrock United: Lidakevicius, Sammons, Knott, Scott, Hayles, Wood, Smith, Robson, Walker, Gilbey, Wraight
