THURROCK made it back-to-back wins in London One North by winning 31-7 at Ipswich.

The visitors did all the damage in the first half when they ran in four tries and secured a bonus point.

Kealan Henry started the scoring in just the second minute but Jake Barrand hit the upright with the conversion.

Thurrock continued to attack and stand-in winger Sam Manning was next to score, gliding over in the corner. This time Barrand secured the conversion.

Dan Carey was next to get his name on the scoresheet with Barrand adding the extras.

Thurrock then stormed clear when the forwards turned over neatly, and Joss Nunn sprinted into the corner to make it 24-0 at the break. The second half was not so fluent with Ipswich making some positional changes which saw Thurrock spend a lot of time defending.

They did that well but a missed tackle saw the home side make 80 metres to score a converted try.

Freddie Russo gave Thurrock the last laugh when he collected his own kick to score. Barrand added his third conversion to complete a fine win.
