Deneholm Primary School's girls football team
DENEHOLM Primary School’s girls football team have been crowned Essex champions.
The girls became only the third team in Thurrock to win the county title and will go on to compete against the best schools from the south east of the country.
The girls qualified for the Essex Championships by seeing off the best of Thurrock at the borough championships held at St Clere’s.
And last week they went on to beat the best of the county and qualify for the regional finals which will take place at Arsenal’s academy training ground in Walthamstow.
