AVELEY have two tough tests at the start of their league campaign.
On Saturday Justin Gardner’s men host Waltham Abbey while Tuesday sees the Millers on the road to Dereham Town.
The Aveley boss will be pleased to get the season underway after a patchy pre-season which saw his team lose their weekend friendly to Faversham 3-0.
But good news for Millers fans is that Aveley have signed Fola Orilonishe and completed the re-signing of Teddy Nesbitt.
Former Southend United youngster Teddy Nesbitt came through the Shrimpers ranks.
As he proved last time he was at Millfield, Nesbitt has great ability and Fola Orilonishe is a midfield player who the club has been chasing for a long time.
His former clubs include Conference South side Sutton United and Thurrock FC, just up the road at Ship Lane.
Gardner was delighted with his new signings.
He said: “Fola Orilonishe is a player that I have admired for a long time, and I’m delighted that we have finally signed him.
“Teddy is a player we’ve had here before, a very good player, and I’m glad that he’s coming home,” he added.
