EAST Thurrock United came from behind against Burnham Ramblers to record a much-needed win.
New manager and ex-Basildon United boss Bertie Brayley saw his Ryman North side take the lead against the Ryman Premier team.
But John Coventry’s but Rocks hit back to net two second half goals.
First Connor Witherspoon and then Lewis Smith (from the penalty spot) gave the Rookery Hill oputfit a win after two losses last weekend.
On Saturday, Rocks start their league campaign by hosting AFC Hornchurch and on Tuesday they host Canvey Island.
