FOOTBALL: Akwasi Marfo, Troy Williams and Ruddock Yala have joined the Grays Athletic squad.
Marfo spent last season at Dulwich Hamlet but a broken foot restricted his appearances.
His performances and workrate out on the right, with a match-winning goal under his belt, were enough to cement a place in the squad for the coming season.
Williams joins from Tooting & Mitcham who he rejoined from Merstham late last year. A utility midfielder he has impressed in both a holding and forward role.
Yala joins from Boreham Wood where he made the centre-back position his own towards the end of last season.
The no-nonsense defender has developed a good understanding with Jay Leader and the club is delighted to retain his services going into the new season.
Bluies boss Jody Brown has been patient in building a squad that fits the style and system he wants to play but is delighted at the contribution all three players have made throughout the pre-season programme and their potential for the future.
