CRICKET: THURROCK lost their third game in a row, losing by six wickets away at Old Chelmsfordians.
A combination of an indifferent pitch and poor batting contributed to a score of just 134 all out.
Opener Umar Ayub top-scored for the visitors with 27, one of only five batsman to reach double figures. Rehman starred with the ball for the hosts and picked up 5-30.
Thurrock had the hosts in a spot of bother at 28-3, but only one decent partnership would be required for such a small total and this occurred when Chris Meer (39no) and Robert Wickham (20) sealed the game.
