The Vortex Hammers are back on track this Friday, 6th June, when the Belle Vue Aces visit the Arena Essex Raceway.
The Essex side will be hoping to bounce back from the disappointment of the defeat against King’s Lynn in their last home fixture and have moved all three heat leaders to new riding positions in an attempt to return to the form that had seen the side top the table.
The Hammers Promoter Jon Cook explained: "With the Poole home match falling victim to the weather we've had long enough to stew on where points are being dropped on a race by race basis and we are going to run with these new pairings for our next couple of meetings and see how we go. Defeat at home, whatever the circumstances, is always tough to take but in the scheme of things King’s Lynn are already a shoe in for the Play Offs so we need to put that meeting behind us and start afresh with victory this Friday."
The teams for Friday are:- The Vortex Lakeside Hammers: 1. Davey Watt (Australia), 2. Richard Lawson (Great Britain), 3. Mikkel Bech (Denmark ), 4. Lewis Bridger (Great Britain), 5. Peter Karlsson (Sweden), 6. Ben Morley (Great Britain), 7. Adam Ellis (Great Britain).
Belle Vue Aces: 1. Matej Zagar (Slovenia), 2. Ritchie Worrall (Great Britain), 3. Scott Nicholls (Great Britain), 4. Michael Palm Toft (Denmark), 5. Craig Cook (Great Britain) Rider Replacement, 6. Lee Payne (Great Britain), 7. Stefan Nielsen (Great Britain).
