SOUTH Essex teams battled it out for the right to be the best in the area at the South Essex Primary Mini Soccer League finals.
The final game saw Corringham Cosmos Lions beat Concord Rangers Lions 2-0 at Burroughs Park, the home of Great Wakering Rovers. Corringham’s second half goals came from Alfie Jones and Kieran Case.
The cup win ends a successful season for the Cosmos Lions who were runners-up in the Division Two EAST South Essex League and cup winners. Cosmos Lions are looking for players to join them in the Southend District league one next season (school Year 6).
