SEA ANGLING: THERE has been plenty of sea angling action in Thurrock and south Essex this week. Thamesmead and Erith: Flounders only.
Belvedere: Flounders, eels and bass are showing at Normans Road.
Gravesend: Graham, from Dolphin Angling, reports flounders, bass, whiting, codling and eels.
Grays Wharf: Flounders, whiting and the occasional small codling are being caught.
Rainham: Flounders and lots of eels are providing sport.
Old Dagenham Market: It’s a bit of a hike but anglers are being rewarded with lots of flounders and eels.
Southend Pier: Bass to 6lb being caught on peeler crab. Other species being caught include garfish, mackerel and wrasse.
