FOOTBALL:  LINFORD Wanderers Under 16s have secured the Chelmsford League Division three title with games to spare.

Having started their campaign with a loss back in September the team pulled together and trained hard. The result was a fantastic run of 19 games unbeaten which allowed them to clinch the title.

Manager Paul Goodley said: “They rose to the challenge set to them this year. They built up a great team spirit and produced amazing performances.”
