The Vortex Hammers scheduled Elite league match away at Swindon tonight (Thursday) has been called off due to the weather.
The Swindon Club made the decision this morning stating that their Abbey Stadium circuit is already very wet, and with the prospect of further rain to come throughout the day an early decision has been taken in order to prevent unnecessary inconvenience.
A new date for the fixture will be confirmed once it has been agreed by the clubs.
The next fixture for the Vortex Hammers will now be on Friday, May 9, when the Wolverhampton Wolves will be the visitors to the Arena Essex Raceway.
