Footie tournament on Canvey
FOOTBALLERS of the future will be on show at a youth tournament this weekend.
Canvey Island FC is holding its annual competition for youngsters on Saturday and Sunday, with teams from East Anglia, London, Kent and Surrey all travelling to The Prospects Stadium in a bid to be the best in their age group.
Morning games at the ground, in Park Lane, kick-off at 9am with afternoon games getting underway at 1.30pm.
