Crown to Crown is happy hunting ground for fast Harriers

ATHLETICS: THE year’s first Crown to Crown took place on Good Friday attracting a field of 300 plus.

Best Harriers finisher was Gary Cahill (Junior) who was ninth in 18m49. Anthony Tobin finished 12th in 19m16 a PB in spite of finishing the Manchester Marathon just 12 days earlier.

Mick Bumsted placed 24th (19m54). New boy Keith Willetts was 25th in 19m58. Nigel Instance was 29th in 20m26.

Gary Cahill (senior) was 46 in 21m46. Henri Willets (12) knocked minutes off his PB with a time of 24m44.
