GYMNASTICS: THURROCK Gymnastics Club has expanded to new and larger premises in Ormiston Park Academy in Aveley.
The club – which caters for beginners to advanced – has a fully qualified coaching team operating under head coach Barry Shervill.
Shervill has been coaching gymnastics for 30 years and coached five gymnasts into the national squad as well as county, regional, and national champions, and one gymnast that went on to represent Great Britain in the Olympics. The new club provides a safe and secure environment for children aged 5-15.
Sessions are held every Saturday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and on Sundays from 9.30am to 11.30pm. The club may well provide longer hours and additional weekday training sessions.
